Testimonials from CSI

"The Accountability Training has put me into different mindset to better serve CSI across the board. By using the Accountability Matrix and Clear SMART Agreements and reviewing past results of my way of thinking, I can adjust for better results in all of my conversations and decisions in the company. This is also very useful in dealing with the outside world as a whole. Becoming more involved at the front end of conversations leads to less work down the road. The people I have dealt with see that by me going the extra mile at the beginning, they have taken the information more seriously and have done a better job with the requirements set forth. I can see that they are more appreciative of the detail in the conversations.

The company is making progress in areas that are making peoples jobs less time consuming (i.e. follow-ups, initial execution, etc.). This is growing as time goes forward. I see the productivity increasing little by little and expect it to keep growing just within the individuals themselves due to better conversations.

The experience of going through the Pro Think Solutions Accountability training has helped me better manage myself and others. And I see the benefits continually growing for some time.”

“The program has had a good impact on me. It has changed my culture allowing me to interact with my co-workers in a different manner for the better. I now understand the importance of communication between all levels of personnel in order to take care of the customer. I now try to make sure the information I need to perform the work is clear and the key people have been involved to make sure the product produced is accurate. I do not start the work till the steps to perform the task and achieve the result  are clear. With me being more willing to listen to key people, they have noticed a change in my behavior. They understand that I will not start a project till the clear agreement has been decided on. We have better conversations about what needs to produced. They all understand now that I need better information to perform the task better. I think they feel more comfortable in communicating with me knowing that I have gone through this accountability transformation. Since the others have been through the accountability program, communication is much better. Starting with the President down to lower management, all understand the need to be accountable to perform tasks that serve the customer. There are people in the office that have picked-up on what other people are doing and haven’t taken the seminar or assessment. Our weekly production meeting is more focused with a set of questions listed that we go through to make sure everything is clear. I believe everyone present feels accountable for not just what they are supposed to do but what the overall outcome for each project is"

"The New Accountability training process not only helped me to make improvements in my communication and way of thinking at work, but also in my personal life.  I had the mentality that others ought to know what needed to be done and do it.  I have always had a tendency to take on too much, thinking that made me accountable/responsible.  I learned through this program there is a difference between taking accountability versus being responsible.   I was able to “let go” of the need to do everything myself and let peers and co-workers take “ownership” .   This was all possible first and foremost due to the communication skills learned and using  the Clear SMART agreement tool from the workshops.

I am able to devote about 20% more time to analysis work that was not getting done timely or at all due to my assistant stepping up to take over other projects/daily tasks. We have a clear agreement for her to take accountability and ownership – in the past I would have just taken it and done it.

Our physical inventory in the Fall of 2009 was one of the most productive ones we have performed.  I put the goals and objectives of the task on the table for all participants , then took a step back and let others come forward to take ownership of the varying segments .  We required 2 less people; we were completely done a – z in 2 days.  Accounting normally spends an additional 2 days wrapping up everything after the actual count is done.  The count was more accurate due to the prep work everyone put into it by taking accountability for the outcome.  I would estimate about a $2,000 savings on labor/time.

Also, with the more effective communication skills learned from this training, I have learned when two or more of us are not on the “same page” we can take a step back, re-organize our thoughts and try again.  I believe we are all better listeners as well as communicators due to this process.
As far as from the personal perspective, I have incorporated these same practices into my home environment.   Being a fulltime working mother/wife I often took on too much at home like I did at work.  Once I quit expecting my family to read my mind, and effectively communicated what needed done I realized some much needed assistance and cooperation at home as well!"
